District Designates November 23 and 24 as Remote Learning Days

The Council Bluffs Community School District has announced temporary changes in the current phase of our Return to Learn Plan. We will shift to the Remote Learning phase for all students on Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24, prior to the five-day Thanksgiving break.  This means students will be learning from home by accessing Google Classrooms on those two days.

This is in response to the current rise in the county’s COVID-19 positivity rate and the impact of COVID cases and quarantines on our school community.

We will then shift to the Hybrid Learning phase on Monday, November 30 until Winter break begins on December 21.  This means we will return to the Group 1 and Group 2 schedules that were in place at the beginning of the school year. November 30th is a Group 1 day at school.  We hope that this notice prior to November 23rd will provide time for you as parents to plan for this change in schedule.
