District Shares Fall Sports Spectator Guidelines; Invites Fans to Watch Games Online
The Council Bluffs Community School District has developed guidelines for spectators to meet health and safety guidelines during our Fall Athletic Season. The biggest change for this year will be limitations on the number of fans/spectators allowed at football and volleyball games as well as swim meets at Kirn Pool. Specifically:
There will be a limit on the number of tickets for entry into the event. Each athlete and member of the band, cheer and dance teams will receive up to 4 tickets for family members to attend.
There will be no student section. Students will not be allowed to attend unless they are part of the event, or unless they are family members who receive one of the 4 tickets provided per participant.
Many varsity football and volleyball games will be streamed live for viewing at home.
Face coverings/masks will be required during the indoor events.
Face coverings/masks will be required at football games, except when seated in the bleachers with any members of your family.
Seating will be designated to follow the six-foot social distancing guidelines.
Visiting teams will be restricted to 2 tickets per player/coach.
School activity passes will not be issued this year and do not need to be purchased.
