Special Olympics

Council Bluffs Community Schools participate in the Southwest Iowa Regional Competition. Students compete in the following events.

• Bowling (held annually in October in Council Bluffs at Thunder Bowl)
• Basketball Skills (held annually in January in Council Bluffs at Iowa Western Community College)
• Spring Games (held annually in April in Council Bluffs at Iowa Western Community College and the Glenwood YMCA)
