PUBLIC NOTICE
The Council Bluffs Community School District Board of Education is now accepting applications for residents of the school district interested in two short-term appointments to the Board. The vacancies were created by the resignations of board members John Minshall and Kyle McGlade. Interested candidates would be appointed later this month to serve until after the November 2, 2021 school board election.
The application is available below and at the Educational Service Center, 300 W. Broadway, Suite 1600. Persons interested in the appointment are asked to complete the application questionnaire and return it to the district office by 5 pm on August 16, 2021.
According to Board President, Chris LaFerla, a sub-committee of the Board of Education will review the applications, conduct interviews of finalist candidates and recommend the appointees at the school board meeting on August 24, 2021.
