Transition Alliance Program (TAP)
The Transition Alliance Program (TAP) is a partnership between Council Bluffs Schools and Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS). Participants of TAP receive assistance in the areas of vocational training, independent living, and post-secondary education.
TAP provides services to young adults between the ages of 16 and 25 who are: current students or graduates of the Council Bluffs School District, are eligible for Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation, and are underemployed or unemployed.
TAP helps young people develop positive work skills in order to obtain and maintain employment. The program also provides follow-up services to assure long-term job success.
There are Transition Alliance Programs across the State of Iowa to assist youth in transition.
