The Summer Exploration Program

will again be offered this year!

 

Dates are June 6th through July 1st

The program runs Monday through Friday for 4 full weeks.

The hours for elementary school are 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Classes will be held at Franklin Elementary and Bloomer Elementary.

Middle school hours are 8:15 AM – 2:15 PM. 

Grades 6 & 8 will be located at Thomas Jefferson High School. 

The program for entering 7th graders will be held at Henry Doorly Zoo.

The morning portion of summer learning is designed to support and maintain academic skills for targeted students.  The afternoon electives will offer a variety of enrichment opportunities both in the schools and community.  Space is limited and we do anticipate a waiting list.
