We are trying to make our morning drop off as effective as we can while still maintaining student safety. We have a map and some parent guidelines that we will send via email, facebook, and web page. If you have any questions feel free to call the Kirn office at 712-328-6454.
Follow all directions given by staff.
Do not stop on the crosswalk.
Move as far forward as you can in order to get more vehicles onto Kirn property. (Regardless of where your child wants dropped off)
Use your turn signal to communicate if you need to turn left into the parking stalls.
If your student gets out of the car and there is no crosswalk, have them walk to the nearest one, not across the bus lane.
Do not wave students on, staff will do this at the crosswalk.
No cell phone use while driving on school property.
Drive slowly, there is a lot of pedestrian traffic.
There is very little traffic before 7:10, arriving earlier may help with traffic flow.
Don’t drop off students at the crosswalk by the main door steps. (6th grade entrance)

Just a reminder — Parents are welcome to join their student for lunch at the tables outside of the cafeteria or main office. Please check with your student for the time they go to the cafeteria. ~Thank you ~
