National Honor Society
The National Honor Society, a national organization, was established to honor students’ high achievement. Membership in the society is based upon the student’s record in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Membership is open to sophomore, junior and senior students. Since it is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a high school student, every student should attempt to make membership in the National Honor Society his or her goal. Students who have a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average after the first 5 trimesters will be invited to apply.
