Online Safety

District Philosophy:

It is the goal of the Council Bluffs Community School District to teach all students appropriate, safe, and ethical use of technology and the Internet.  Thee Board Policy 617 Internet – Appropriate Student Use and administrative regulation 617.1  Internet – Appropriate Student Use Regulation provide guidance for students and parents regarding approved and prohibited behaviors and actions.

Internet and Online Safety Resources:

There are numerous quality resources for parents to start discussions about online safety and digital citizenship with their children.  The District encourages parents to closely monitor their child’s online activities.  Students should provide their student login credentials to all the district systems to their parents.
