2005-06 objectives of the BASICS Nutrition Education Grant, which is funded by USDA's Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program were:

1. Increase acceptance/intake of fruits and vegetables.

2. Promote Physical Activity as part of a healthy  lifestyle.
